MAPK8IP2 / ATTO 700 / S135-37

Product Details
Description Mouse monoclonal to JIP2 (ATTO 700). The JNK-interacting protein (JIP) group of scaffold proteins selectively mediates JNK signaling by aggregating specific components of the MAPK cascade to form a functional JNK signaling module. JIP2 inhibits IL1 beta-induced apoptosis in insulin-secreting cells. May function as a regulator of vesicle transport, through interactions with the JNK-signaling components and motor proteins. It is expressed mainly in the cerebellum, pituitary gland, occipital lobe, and the amygdala of the brain, but also in the pancreas, including insulin-secreting cells..

About MAPK8IP2
This gene encodes a scaffold protein that is thought to be involved in the regulation of the c-Jun amino-terminal kinase signaling pathway. This protein has been shown to interact with and regulate the activity of MAPK8/JNK1 and MAP2K7/MKK7 kinases. [provided by RefSeq, Jun 2017]
About ATTO 700
ATTO 700 from ATTO-Tec Gmbh has an excitation peak at 700 nm and an emission peak at 719 nm.
