JAML Monoclonal / Biotin / REA862
Product Details
Description | Clone REA862 recognizes the mouse JAML antigen, also known as AMICA1 or junctional adhesion molecule-like protein. JAML is a transmembrane protein, which consists of two extracellular immunoglobulin-like domains, a membrane-spanning region, and a cytoplasmic tail involved in activation signaling. JAML is found on gamma/delta intraepithelial T cells. The costimulatory molecule JAML binds to its ligands Coxsackie virus and adenovirus receptor (CAR), that leads to cellular proliferation and cytokine and growth factor production. | Additional information: Clone REA862 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. | |

About JAML
Enables integrin binding activity and protein homodimerization activity. Involved in heterophilic cell-cell adhesion via plasma membrane cell adhesion molecules and myeloid leukocyte migration. Located in bicellular tight junction; nucleoplasm; and plasma membrane. [provided by Alliance of Genome Resources, Apr 2022]
