GITR Ligand Monoclonal / VioBright 515 / REA841
Product Details
Description | Clone REA841 recognizes the human GITRL, also known as the ligand for GITR (glucocorticoid-induced TNF receptor superfamily-related protein) and also called AITR (activation-inducible TNF receptor superfamily-related protein). GITRL, a type II membrane protein and a member of the TNF superfamily, is highly expressed in small intestine, ovary, testis, kidney, and endothelial cells. GITRL is not found in resting or stimulated T cells, B cells, or peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs). After stimulation by bacterial lipopolysaccharides (LPS), GITRL is upregulated. GITR and GITRL might play an important role for interactions between activated T lymphocytes and endothelial cells. Furthermore, overexpression on monocyte-derived DC enhances their capacity to induce antigen-specific T cell responses. | Additional information: Clone REA841 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. | |
