CD85i Monoclonal / PE-Vio770 / REA863

Product Details
Description Clone REA863 recognizes the human CD85i antigen, an immunoreceptor found on monocytes and B cells and at lower levels on dendritic cells and NK cells. CD85i, also known as LIR-6, is a member of the leukocyte Ig-like receptor family (LIRs or LILRs). Different members of the LILR family act as receptor for class I MHC antigens and may have influence on signaling pathways of both innate and adaptive immune systems. | Additional information: Clone REA862 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.

About CD85i
This gene encodes an activating member of the leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor (LIR) family, which is found in a gene cluster at chromosomal region 19q13.4. The encoded protein is predominantly expressed in B cells, interacts with major histocompatibility complex class I ligands, and contributes to the regulation of immune responses. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, May 2013]
About PE-Vio770
PE-Vio® 770 from Miltenyi Biotec is a red-emitting tandem fluorophore that combines pycoerythrin (PE) and Vio®770. The donor molecule, PE can be excited by the 488-nm blue, 532-nm green, or 561-nm yellow-green laser and and transfers energy to the acceptor molecule, Vio®770, which emitts light that can be captured with a 780/60 nm bandpass filter. PE-Vio®770 has an excitation peak at 565 nm and an emission peak at 775 nm and is a common alternative to PE-Cy7 and PE-H7.
