Siglec-6 Monoclonal / Biotin / REA852

Product Details
Description Clone REA852 recognizes the human CD327 antigen, which is also known as sialic acid binding Ig-like lectin 6 (Siglec-6), belonging to the Ig superfamily that is involved in cell-cell interactions and signaling. As an adhesion molecule, CD327 mediates sialic acid dependent interaction to cells by binding to the alpha-2,6-linked sialic acid and is highly expressed in placenta and at low levels in spleen, peripheral blood leukocytes, and small intestine. | Additional information: Clone REA852 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |

About Siglec-6
This gene encodes a member of the SIGLEC (sialic acid binding immunoglobulin-like lectin) family of proteins. The encoded transmembrane receptor binds sialyl-TN glycans and leptin. Placental expression of the encoded protein is upregulated in preeclampsia. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2016]
