CD3 Monoclonal / PE-Vio770 / REA641

Product Details
Description Clone REA641 recognizes the mouse CD3 complex, which is expressed on all mature T lymphocytes, NKT cells, and during the development of thymocytes. CD3, also known as T3, belongs to the Ig superfamily. It consists of CD3epsilon, delta, gamma, and zeta chains and forms a TCR complex by associating with TCR alpha/beta or gamma/delta chains. The TCR does not possess intracellular signaling domains, uncoupling Ag recognition from T cell signaling. The TCR is instead non-covalently associated with a multisubunit signaling apparatus, consisting of the CD3epsilongamma and CD3epsilondelta heterodimers and the CD3zetazeta homodimer, which collectively form the TCR-CD3 complex. CD3 is involved in T cell activation, signal transduction, and antigen recognition by binding the peptide/MHC antigen complex. | Additional information: Clone REA641 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.

About PE-Vio770
PE-Vio® 770 from Miltenyi Biotec is a red-emitting tandem fluorophore that combines pycoerythrin (PE) and Vio®770. The donor molecule, PE can be excited by the 488-nm blue, 532-nm green, or 561-nm yellow-green laser and and transfers energy to the acceptor molecule, Vio®770, which emitts light that can be captured with a 780/60 nm bandpass filter. PE-Vio®770 has an excitation peak at 565 nm and an emission peak at 775 nm and is a common alternative to PE-Cy7 and PE-H7.
