CD101 Monoclonal / VioBright 515 / REA954
Product Details
Description | Clone REA954 recognizes the human CD101 antigen, also known as V7 or IGSF2, which is a 140 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein of the Ig gene superfamily. CD101 is expressed on monocytes, granulocytes, and subsets of dendritic cells (DCs). In addition, CD101 is expressed on certain subpopulations of T cells, in particular about 5–30% of FoxP3+ Treg cells in peripheral blood. The interaction of CD101 with clone REA954 has been shown to inhibit T cell activation by allogeneic DCs or CD3 antibodies. | Additional information: Clone REA954 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. | |

About CD101
Predicted to enable hydrolase activity, acting on carbon-nitrogen (but not peptide) bonds, in cyclic amides. Predicted to be involved in cell surface receptor signaling pathway. Predicted to act upstream of or within positive regulation of myeloid leukocyte differentiation. Located in extracellular exosome. [provided by Alliance of Genome Resources, Apr 2022]
