About TGF-alpha
This gene encodes a growth factor that is a ligand for the epidermal growth factor receptor, which activates a signaling pathway for cell proliferation, differentiation and development. This protein may act as either a transmembrane-bound ligand or a soluble ligand. This gene has been associated with many types of cancers, and it may also be involved in some cases of cleft lip/palate. About CF488A
CF®488A from Biotium is a fluorophore with an excitation peak at 490 nm and an emission peak at 515 nm. It is spectrally similar to Fluorescein, Alexa Fluor™ 488 and DyLight™ 488. It can be use in fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry. In microscopy, CF®488A has been specifically validated for STORM, STED, Structured Illumination (SIM), 2-Photon microscopy and TIRF.
