TCR V beta 12 Monoclonal / APC / REA946
Product Details
Description | Clone REA946 recognizes the mouse V beta 12 T cell receptor (TCR Vbeta12). The T cell receptor is responsible for recognizing antigens bound to major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecules and plays an important role in T cell mediated immune responses. It is a disulfide-linked membrane-anchored heterodimeric glycoprotein normally consisting of the highly variable alpha and beta chains expressed as part of a complex with the invariant CD3 chain molecules. The alpha and beta TCR chains are composed of constant and variable regions, each encoded by distinct gene segments. REA946 recognizes TCR Vbeta12 on mouse strains with b haplotypes (e.g., BALB/c, C3H, and DBA/1). | Additional information: Clone REA946 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. | |

About APC
Allophycocyanin (APC) is a fluorescent protein derived from cyanobacteria and red algae and a potent donor fluorophore to create tandem dyes that can be excited off the 633-640 nm laser. APC has an excitation peak at 650 nm and a emission peak at 660 nm.
