OX40L Monoclonal / PE-Vio615 / REA960
Product Details
Description | Clone REA960 recognizes the mouse CD252 antigen, also known as OX40L, a ligand of the OX40 receptor belonging to the TNF superfamily. Expression of CD252 can be induced on B cells, dendritic cells, macrophages, mast cells, NK cells, endothelial cells, and smooth muscle cells. Expression of the cognate receptor OX40, is found on activated CD4 cells, CD8 cells, regulatory T cells, NKT cells, NK cells, and neutrophils, but the function of OX40 signaling is extensively studied only in T cells. CD252–OX40 interaction promotes the proliferation and surival of effector T cells, modulates cytokine production, suppresses the activity of natural regulatory T cells (nTreg) and inhibits the generation of inducible Treg cells. | Additional information: Clone REA960 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. | |

About OX40L
This gene encodes a cytokine of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand family. The encoded protein functions in T cell antigen-presenting cell (APC) interactions and mediates adhesion of activated T cells to endothelial cells. Polymorphisms in this gene have been associated with Sjogren's syndrome and systemic lupus erythematosus. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2014]
