CD355 Monoclonal / PE-Vio770 / REA882

Product Details
Description Clone REA882 recognizes the mouse CD355 antigen, also known as class I MHC-restricted T cell associated molecule (CRTAM). CD355 is a type I immunoglobulin-superfamily transmembrane receptor, which is expressed by activated CD8+ T cells and NK cells, but it is also found on spleen, brain, and testis. CD355 recognizes nectin-like molecule 2 (Necl-2), a cell-surface protein that mediates epithelial cell junctions and interactions with other nectins and Necls. In association with Necl-2, CD355 promotes cytotoxicity of NK cells and IFN-gamma secretion of CD8+ T cells and NK cell–mediated rejection of tumors. | Additional information: Clone REA882 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.

About CD355
The CRTAM gene is upregulated in CD4 (see MIM 186940)-positive and CD8 (see CD8A; MIM 186910)-positive T cells and encodes a type I transmembrane protein with V and C1-like Ig domains (Yeh et al., 2008 [PubMed 18329370]).[supplied by OMIM, Feb 2009]
About PE-Vio770
PE-Vio® 770 from Miltenyi Biotec is a red-emitting tandem fluorophore that combines pycoerythrin (PE) and Vio®770. The donor molecule, PE can be excited by the 488-nm blue, 532-nm green, or 561-nm yellow-green laser and and transfers energy to the acceptor molecule, Vio®770, which emitts light that can be captured with a 780/60 nm bandpass filter. PE-Vio®770 has an excitation peak at 565 nm and an emission peak at 775 nm and is a common alternative to PE-Cy7 and PE-H7.
