CD98 / APC /
Product Details
Description | The antibody reacts with a widely distributed antigen which may have an important role in T cell activation. Reacts with a 125 kDa,disulfide-linked heterodimer composed of a glycosylated heavy chain, type II membrane glycoprotein and a non-glycosylated light chain.CD98 is broadly expressed on peripheral blood lymphocytes, monocytes and granulocytes (low). It is also expressed on non-hematopoietic cells.Reports suggest that CD98 may be involved in the regulation of cellular activation. | |

About APC
Allophycocyanin (APC) is a fluorescent protein derived from cyanobacteria and red algae and a potent donor fluorophore to create tandem dyes that can be excited off the 633-640 nm laser. APC has an excitation peak at 650 nm and a emission peak at 660 nm.
