ESAM Monoclonal / PE-Vio770 / REA722

Product Details
Description Clone REA722 recognizes the mouse endothelial cell-selective adhesion molecule (ESAM) antigen, a 55 kDa molecule, which is also known as a transmembrane tight junction protein composed of a single transmembrane domain and a cytoplasmic domain. By affecting endothelial cell contacts, ESAM is mostly expressed on endothelial cells of various organs such as heart, lung, kidney, and skin, participating in the migration of neutrophils through the vessel wall. | Additional information: Clone REA722 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |

About ESAM
Enables cell-cell adhesion mediator activity. Involved in several processes, including bicellular tight junction assembly; cell-cell adhesion; and regulation of actin cytoskeleton organization. Located in cell-cell junction and plasma membrane. Part of protein-containing complex. [provided by Alliance of Genome Resources, Apr 2022]
About PE-Vio770
PE-Vio® 770 from Miltenyi Biotec is a red-emitting tandem fluorophore that combines pycoerythrin (PE) and Vio®770. The donor molecule, PE can be excited by the 488-nm blue, 532-nm green, or 561-nm yellow-green laser and and transfers energy to the acceptor molecule, Vio®770, which emitts light that can be captured with a 780/60 nm bandpass filter. PE-Vio®770 has an excitation peak at 565 nm and an emission peak at 775 nm and is a common alternative to PE-Cy7 and PE-H7.
