PASD1 Monoclonal / Alexa Fluor 488 / 2ALCC128
Product Details
Description | PASD1-2 is specific for the recombinant protein (aa 540-773) present only in the longer PASD1_v2 protein (C-terminus). Antibody PASD1-2 stains nuclei of a subpopulation of spermatogonia near the basal membrane in testicular tubules, with decreasing intensity of labeling with maturity, and also labels a small subpopulation of salivary gland cells. IHC stainings may be performed on FFPE and cryostat preparations of cells and tissues. In WB, expected MW is 87.5 kDa/72.5 kDa, observed MW is ~100 kDa.Specific for PASD1b. | |

About PASD1
This gene encodes a protein that is thought to function as a transcription factor. The protein is a cancer-associated antigen that can stimulate autologous T-cell responses, and it is therefore considered to be a potential immunotherapeutic target for the treatment of various hematopoietic malignancies, including diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. [provided by RefSeq, May 2010]

About Alexa Fluor 488
Alexa Fluor™ 488 (AF488, Alexa 488) has an excitation peak at 488 nm and an emission peak at 496 nm, and is considered a high-performance alternative to FITC. Alexa 488 is one of the most popular Alexa Fluor™ dyes and is widely used in Fluorescence Microscopy, flow cytometry, and for staining low expression markers. It is bright, highly photostable, resistant to pH changes, and less susceptible to photobleaching. Alexa 488 and is similar in size, brightness and application to DyLight™ 488, iFluor® 488 and CF®488A.
