TCR V beta 11 Monoclonal / APC / REA657
Product Details
Description | Clone REA657 recognizes the mouse V beta 11 T cell receptor (TCR Vbeta11). The T cell receptor (TCR) is responsible for recognizing antigens bound to major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecules. It is a disulfide-linked membrane-anchored heterodimeric glycoprotein normally consisting of the highly variable alpha and beta chains expressed as part of a complex with the invariant CD3 chain molecules. T cells expressing this receptor are referred to as TCRalpha/beta T cells, though a minority of T cells express an alternate receptor, formed by variable gamma and delta chains, referred as TCRgamma/delta T cells. TCR Vbeta11 is a variant of the TCR beta chain and is expressed on mouse strains with the b haplotype in the TCR beta gene complex, including C57BL/6 and B10, but not on mice strains with the a haplotype, including C57L, SJL, and SWR. | Additional information: Clone REA657 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. | |

About APC
Allophycocyanin (APC) is a fluorescent protein derived from cyanobacteria and red algae and a potent donor fluorophore to create tandem dyes that can be excited off the 633-640 nm laser. APC has an excitation peak at 650 nm and a emission peak at 660 nm.
