RAE-1 alpha/beta/gamma Monoclonal / APC / REA578
Product Details
Description | Clone REA578 recognizes the Rae-1alpha/beta/gamma antigen, a surface protein and member of GPI-linked (glypiated) proteins which share partial homology with MHC class I molecules. Rae-1alpha/beta/gamma were detected in early mouse embryos, especially in the head region. Rae-1 is also up-regulated on a large variety of tumor cells. Together with H-60, Rae-1 is a ligand for the murine NKG2D receptor and a potent stimulator of innate immunity. The ligand-expressing tumour cells induce potent priming of cytotoxic T cells and sensitization of NK cells in vivo. Clone REA578 does not detect Rae-1delta/epsilon. | Additional information: Clone REA578 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. | |

About APC
Allophycocyanin (APC) is a fluorescent protein derived from cyanobacteria and red algae and a potent donor fluorophore to create tandem dyes that can be excited off the 633-640 nm laser. APC has an excitation peak at 650 nm and a emission peak at 660 nm.
