CD261 Monoclonal / APC / DJR1
Product Details
Description | The DJR1 monoclonal antibody recognizes the human antigen CD261, which is also known as DR4 or TRAILR1. CD261 belongs to the TNF receptor family and is a receptor for TNFSF10/ trail. It promotes the activation of NF-kappaB and induces TRAIL-mediated apoptosis. CD261 is expressed on spleen, peripheral blood leukocytes, small intestine, and thymus, but also in K-562 erythroleukemia cells, MCF-7 breast carcinoma cells, and activated T cells. | | | | | | | | |

About CD261
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. This receptor is activated by tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis inducing ligand (TNFSF10/TRAIL), and thus transduces cell death signal and induces cell apoptosis. Studies with FADD-deficient mice suggested that FADD, a death domain containing adaptor protein, is required for the apoptosis mediated by this protein. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

About APC
Allophycocyanin (APC) is a fluorescent protein derived from cyanobacteria and red algae and a potent donor fluorophore to create tandem dyes that can be excited off the 633-640 nm laser. APC has an excitation peak at 650 nm and a emission peak at 660 nm.
