FCRL1 Monoclonal / Biotin / REA566
Product Details
Description | Clone REA566 recognizes the mouse CD307a antigen, a single-pass type I membrane protein, which is also known as Fc receptor-like protein 1 (FcRL1) or immune receptor translocation-associated protein 5 (IRTA5). One FcRL1 isoform lacks a transmembrane domain, the other isoform has transmembrane domains and cytoplasmic ITIM and ITAM-like consensus sequences implying the inhibitory or activating signaling potential. CD307a is preferentially expressed at different stages in B cell differentiation. | Additional information: Clone REA566 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. | |

About FCRL1
This gene encodes a member of the immunoglobulin receptor superfamily and is one of several Fc receptor-like glycoproteins clustered on the long arm of chromosome 1. The encoded protein contains three extracellular C2-like immunoglobulin domains, a transmembrane domain and a cytoplasmic domain with two immunoreceptor-tyrosine activation motifs. This protein may play a role in the regulation of cancer cell growth. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Apr 2009]
