Complement C3a R Monoclonal / PE-Vio770 / hC3aRZ8
Product Details
Description | Clone hC3aRZ8 recognizes the human C3a anaphylatoxin chemotactic receptor (C3aR) antigen, a 54 kDa seven transmembrane GTP-binding-protein–coupled receptor which belongs to the rhodopsin supergene family. C3aR is expressed by various cells, including cells of hematopoietic origin such as neutrophils and monocytes, but also non-hematopoietic cells such as renal proximal tubular epithelial cells or neural cells. C3aR functions as a cell surface receptor for the chemotactic and inflammatory peptide anaphylatoxin C3a, a C-terminal 77 amino acid cleavage product of the alpha chain of C3. All cellular responses to C3a are specifically mediated by interactions with the membrane bound C3aR. After C3a binding, the C3aR signaling results in chemotaxis, granule enzyme release, and superoxide anion production. C3aR binding on T cells promotes CD4+ and CD8+ T cell activation, proliferation, differentiation, and survival, independently of TCR signals. | | |

About Complement C3a R
C3a is an anaphylatoxin released during activation of the complement system. The protein encoded by this gene is an orphan G protein-coupled receptor for C3a. Binding of C3a by the encoded receptor activates chemotaxis, granule enzyme release, superoxide anion production, and bacterial opsonization. [provided by RefSeq, May 2016]

About PE-Vio770
PE-Vio® 770 from Miltenyi Biotec is a red-emitting tandem fluorophore that combines pycoerythrin (PE) and Vio®770. The donor molecule, PE can be excited by the 488-nm blue, 532-nm green, or 561-nm yellow-green laser and and transfers energy to the acceptor molecule, Vio®770, which emitts light that can be captured with a 780/60 nm bandpass filter. PE-Vio®770 has an excitation peak at 565 nm and an emission peak at 775 nm and is a common alternative to PE-Cy7 and PE-H7.
