CD44H Monoclonal / PerCP-Vio700 / REA505

Product Details
Description Clone REA505 recognizes the rat CD44H antigen, a transmembrane glycoprotein, also known as homing-associated cell adhesion molecule (H-CAM) or phagocytic glycoprotein-1 (Pgp-1). CD44H belongs to the CD44 group, that encompasses several isoforms expressed in a variety of tissues. It is highly expressed on hematopoietic and non-hematopoietic cells. All isoforms are encoded by the same gene on chromosome 11 and are formed by alternative splicing of their mRNA. CD44 isoforms belong to the family of cell adhesion molecules and to the sub-family of the hyaladherins in consideration of their affinity for hyaluronate and their structural homology with the cartilage link protein. The standard form of CD44, CD44H, exhibits a high affinity for hyaluronate, plays a role in the uptake and degradation of this glycosaminoglycan, and participates in cell locomotion in its presence. | Additional information: Clone REA505 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.

About PerCP-Vio700
PerCP-Vio® 770 is a far-red-emitting tandem fluorophore that combines PerCP and a Vio®770 dye. The donor, PerCP, can be excited by the 488 nm blue laser and transfers energy to the acceptor, Vio®770, which emits light that can be captured with a 780/60 nm bandpass filter. APC-Vio®770 has an excitation peak at 482 nm and an emission peak at 704 nm, and is spectrally similar to PerCP-Cy5.5 and PerCP-eF710. PerCP-Vio®770 is known to be very bright and photostable, as well as being stable when treated with fixatives. These favorable characteristics that make it useful in multiple different applications such as flow cytometry and Fluorescence Microscopy. The large stokes shift can be advantageous when trying to fit more colors into a multicolor panel. The Vio® dye family are products of Miltenyi Biotec, with many antibody conjugates designed and validated for flow cytometry.
