About CD62L
This gene encodes a cell surface adhesion molecule that belongs to a family of adhesion/homing receptors. The encoded protein contains a C-type lectin-like domain, a calcium-binding epidermal growth factor-like domain, and two short complement-like repeats. The gene product is required for binding and subsequent rolling of leucocytes on endothelial cells, facilitating their migration into secondary lymphoid organs and inflammation sites. Single-nucleotide polymorphisms in this gene have been associated with various diseases including immunoglobulin A nephropathy. About PE-Texas Red
PE-Texas Red is a red-emitting tandem fluorophore that combines pycoerythrin (PE) and Texas Ted. The donor molecule, PE can be excited by the 488-nm blue, 532-nm green, or 561-nm yellow-green laser and and transfers energy to the acceptor molecule, Texas Red. PE-Texas Ted has an excitation peak at 565 nm and an emission peak at 615 nm. It is spectrally comparable to PE-eFluor™ 610, PE-Dazzle 594 and PE-CF®594.
