Eps15 / DyLight 650 / Polyclonal
Product Details
Description | EPS15 Polyclonal Antibody, DyLight 650 conjugate. EPS15 is a ubiquitously expressed protein that is involved in cell growth regulation and may be involved in the regulation of mitogenic signals and control of cell proliferation. Phosphorylation of EPS15 on Tyrosine 849 upon DNA damage is involved in the internalization of EGFR. A chromosomal aberration involving EPS15 is also found in acute leukemias, resulting in a rogue activator protein.IF 5 µg/ml, IP 5-10 µg/1 mg lysate, WB 1:1000, ICC 5 µg/ml | |

About Eps15
This gene encodes a protein that is part of the EGFR pathway. The protein is present at clatherin-coated pits and is involved in receptor-mediated endocytosis of EGF. Notably, this gene is rearranged with the HRX/ALL/MLL gene in acute myelogeneous leukemias. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms. About DyLight 650
DyLight™ 650 is a red-emitting fluorophore that excited by the 640 nm laser and collected using a 670/30 nm bandpass filter. DyLight™ 650 has an excitation peak at 652 nm and an emission peak at 672 nm, and is spectrally similar to Alexa Fluor™ 647 and Cy5. DyLight™ 650 is most commonly used in flow cytometery and fluorescence microscopy applications.
