HIF-2 alpha / DyLight 650 / Polyclonal

Product Details
Description HIF-2 alpha Polyclonal Antibody, DyLight 650 conjugate. Hypoxia contributes significantly to the pathophysiology of major categories of human disease, including myocardial and cerebral ischemia, cancer, pulmonary hypertension, congenital heart disease and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.HIF-2 alpha is predominantly expressed in highly vascularized tissues of adult humans and endothelial cells of the embryonic and adult mouse, whereas HIF-1alpha functions primarily in extravascular tissues. HIF-2 alpha is also a potent activator of the tie-2 gene, which is known to be selectively expressed in endothelial cells.WB 1:200-1:1000, IHC (P) 1:100

About HIF-2 alpha
This gene encodes a transcription factor involved in the induction of genes regulated by oxygen, which is induced as oxygen levels fall. The encoded protein contains a basic-helix-loop-helix domain protein dimerization domain as well as a domain found in proteins in signal transduction pathways which respond to oxygen levels. Mutations in this gene are associated with erythrocytosis familial type 4. [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2009]
About DyLight 650
DyLight™ 650 is a red-emitting fluorophore that excited by the 640 nm laser and collected using a 670/30 nm bandpass filter. DyLight™ 650 has an excitation peak at 652 nm and an emission peak at 672 nm, and is spectrally similar to Alexa Fluor™ 647 and Cy5. DyLight™ 650 is most commonly used in flow cytometery and fluorescence microscopy applications.
