Description Single immunoglobulin and toll-interleukin 1 receptor (TIR) domain, also known as SIGIRR is a member of the IL-1 receptor family.1 It acts as a negative regulator of interleukin (IL)-1 and lipopolysaccharide (LPS) signaling.2 It also plays a critical role in gut homeostasis, intestinal inflammation, and colitis-associated tumorigenesis by maintaining the microbial tolerance of the colonic epithelium.3
