CD127 / DyLight 650 / A7R34

Product Details
Description CD127 (IL7R-alpha) is a 60-90 kD type I cytokine receptor involved in the regulation of lymphopoiesis. The active receptor is an alpha/gamma chain heterodimer. The common gamma chain, which also associates with the IL-2 receptor, serves mainly to activate signal transduction via the IL7R complex. CD127 also interacts with the Thymic Stromal Lymphopoietin Receptor (TSLPR). CD127 determines signaling events via its association with cytoplasmic signaling molecules and has been reported to be a useful marker for identifying memory and effector T cells.

About CD127
The protein encoded by this gene is a receptor for interleukin 7 (IL7). The function of this receptor requires the interleukin 2 receptor, gamma chain (IL2RG), which is a common gamma chain shared by the receptors of various cytokines, including interleukins 2, 4, 7, 9, and 15. This protein has been shown to play a critical role in V(D)J recombination during lymphocyte development. Defects in this gene may be associated with severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID). Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2015]
About DyLight 650
DyLight™ 650 is a red-emitting fluorophore that excited by the 640 nm laser and collected using a 670/30 nm bandpass filter. DyLight™ 650 has an excitation peak at 652 nm and an emission peak at 672 nm, and is spectrally similar to Alexa Fluor™ 647 and Cy5. DyLight™ 650 is most commonly used in flow cytometery and fluorescence microscopy applications.
