Description | Clone REA1060 recognizes the human CD29 antigen, a 130 kDa single-pass type I membrane protein. CD29 is also known as integrin beta1 or GPIIa. It forms heterodimers with integrins alpha1-11 and alphaV to form functional integrin receptors which bind several cell surface and extracellular molecules such as collagen, fibronectin, laminin, VCAM1, cytotactin, osteopontin, epiligrin, thrombospondin, etc. The cytoplasmic domain of CD29 can interact with cytoskeletal proteins and signaling molecules. In humans, CD29 can be found in four different isoforms (beta1A, beta1B, beta1C, beta1D). | Additional information: Clone REA1060 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. | |

About Vio Bright R720
Vio® Bright R720 and Vio® R720 have an excitation peak at 695 nm and an emission peak at 720 nm, which means that these dyes are optimally excited by the 640 nm red laser while the emitted light is collected by the channel with a 725/40 bandpass filter. Miltenyi Biotec's proprietary multimerization technology allows for Vio® Bright R720 to be nearly twice the brightness of Vio® R720, so this choice of fluorophore offers flexibility in your panel design in flow cytometry. Spectrally, Vio® Bright R720 is comparable to R700 from BD Biosciences.
