CD273 / PE-Vio770 / REA986

Product Details
Description Clone REA986 recognizes CD273, a member of the B7 family of protein ligands. CD273, along with another member of the B7 family (B7-H1) are ligands of T-cell receptor known as programmed death-1 (PD-1). Surface expression of B7-DC is restricted to dendritic cells (DCs) and activated or IFNgamma-stimulated DCs and macrophages. CD273/PD-1 interaction is involved in inhibition of T-cell activation, however a co-stimulatory role of CD273, via interaction with receptor other then PD-1 is also reported. | Additional Information: Clone REA986 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.

About CD273
Involved in negative regulation of activated T cell proliferation; negative regulation of interferon-gamma production; and negative regulation of interleukin-10 production. Predicted to be located in plasma membrane. Predicted to be active in external side of plasma membrane. Biomarker of pulmonary tuberculosis. [provided by Alliance of Genome Resources, Apr 2022]
About PE-Vio770
PE-Vio® 770 from Miltenyi Biotec is a red-emitting tandem fluorophore that combines pycoerythrin (PE) and Vio®770. The donor molecule, PE can be excited by the 488-nm blue, 532-nm green, or 561-nm yellow-green laser and and transfers energy to the acceptor molecule, Vio®770, which emitts light that can be captured with a 780/60 nm bandpass filter. PE-Vio®770 has an excitation peak at 565 nm and an emission peak at 775 nm and is a common alternative to PE-Cy7 and PE-H7.
