TCR V alpha 7.2 Monoclonal / APC / REA179
Product Details
Description | Clone REA179 recognizes the TCR chain Valpha7.2, which together with Jalpha33 segment forms the invariant T cell receptor. Human Valpha7.2-Jalpha33 invariant T cells are preferentially localized in the gut and are often termed as mucosal-associated T (MAIT) cells. MAIT cells are restricted to MHC class I like molecules, such as MR1. Further, MAIT cells are suggested to be involved in regulation of immune response at the mucosal surfaces, which are the primary sites for pathogen entry. | Additional information: Clone REA179 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. | | |

About APC
Allophycocyanin (APC) is a fluorescent protein derived from cyanobacteria and red algae and a potent donor fluorophore to create tandem dyes that can be excited off the 633-640 nm laser. APC has an excitation peak at 650 nm and a emission peak at 660 nm.
