TCL1 Monoclonal / PE-Vio770 / REA289

Product Details
Description Clone REA289 recognizes the T cell leukemia/lymphoma protein, a 14 kDa symmetrical b-barrel structure protein also known as oncogene TCL-1 or protein p14 TCL1. The TCL1 locus on chromosome 14q32.1 is frequently involved in chromosomal translocations and inversions with one of the T cell receptor loci in human T cell leukemias and lymphomas. In the lymphoid compartment, TCL1 expression is limited to CD4-CD8-CD3- thymocytes, CD34+CD19+ pro–B cell through IgM-negative pre–B cells, as well as plasmacytoid subset of dendritic cells. The members of the TCL1 proto-oncogene family (TCL1, MTCP1, and TCL1b) bind to Akt1, increasing its phosphorylation status and kinase activity. Further, TCL1 is able to promote the formation of oligomeric TCL1-Akt protein complexes in which the kinase is preferentially phosphorylated and activated. | Additional information: Clone REA289 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |

About PE-Vio770
PE-Vio® 770 from Miltenyi Biotec is a red-emitting tandem fluorophore that combines pycoerythrin (PE) and Vio®770. The donor molecule, PE can be excited by the 488-nm blue, 532-nm green, or 561-nm yellow-green laser and and transfers energy to the acceptor molecule, Vio®770, which emitts light that can be captured with a 780/60 nm bandpass filter. PE-Vio®770 has an excitation peak at 565 nm and an emission peak at 775 nm and is a common alternative to PE-Cy7 and PE-H7.
