Ly-49H Monoclonal / APC / REA241
Product Details
Description | Clone REA241 recognizes mouse lymphocyte antigen 49H (Ly-49H) which is also known as killer cell lectin-like receptor 8, Klra8, or Cmv-1. REA241 does not crossreact with related molecules like Ly-49A, C, D, or G2. Ly-49H is a member of the C-type lectin Ly-49 multigene family and is expressed by C57BL/6 and NWNA but not by BALB/c and DBA/2 mouse NK cells. It recognizes a ligand from mouse cytomegalovirus (MCMV), and engagement of Ly-49H can lead to killing of MCMV-infected cells. In addition to NK cell cytotoxicity, Ly-49H has a crucial role in supporting NK cell proliferation to prevent immunopathology caused by the adaptive immune system. | Additional information: Clone REA241 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. | | |

About APC
Allophycocyanin (APC) is a fluorescent protein derived from cyanobacteria and red algae and a potent donor fluorophore to create tandem dyes that can be excited off the 633-640 nm laser. APC has an excitation peak at 650 nm and a emission peak at 660 nm.
