CD114 Monoclonal / Biotin / LMM741
Product Details
Description | Clone LMM741 binds the receptor for granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSFR, CSF3), a 130–150 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein of the class 1 cytokine receptor gene family also known as CD114. Ligand binding leads to homodimerization and subsequent signal transduction involving the JAK-STAT pathway. CD114 is expressed by neutrophils at all stages of differentiation but also found on monocytes, endothelial cells, mature platelets, trophoblasts, and placenta. | |

About CD114
The protein encoded by this gene is the receptor for colony stimulating factor 3, a cytokine that controls the production, differentiation, and function of granulocytes. The encoded protein, which is a member of the family of cytokine receptors, may also function in some cell surface adhesion or recognition processes. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described. Mutations in this gene are a cause of Kostmann syndrome, also known as severe congenital neutropenia. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2010]
