MICA/MICB Monoclonal / APC / 6D4
Product Details
Description | The monoclonal antibody 6D4 recognizes MICA and MICB, which are transmembrane glycoproteins related to major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I molecules. In contrast to other MHC class I proteins, MICA/B have no association with beta2-microglobulin and do not bind peptides. They are ligands for NKG2D, which is expressed on NK cells and many T cells. MICA/B are expressed on endothelial cells and fibroblasts and are stress-induced in epithelial cells. | |

About APC
Allophycocyanin (APC) is a fluorescent protein derived from cyanobacteria and red algae and a potent donor fluorophore to create tandem dyes that can be excited off the 633-640 nm laser. APC has an excitation peak at 650 nm and a emission peak at 660 nm.
