STK32C / Unconjugated /
Product Details
Description | Rabbit polyclonal antibody to STK32C also known as PKE and Yet another novel kinase 3 whose expression can be detected in the amygdala but is highly expressive in the testis. It is found in the intracellular domains. This protein performs several biological functions like binding of ATP as well as metal ion, protein kinase activity and intracellular signal transduction. It also extensively carries out peptidyl-serine phosphorylation. | |

About STK32C
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the serine/threonine protein kinase family. It is thought that this family member is functional in brain due to its high expression levels there. DNA methylation differences have been found in this gene in monozygotic twins that are discordant for adolescent depression. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
