TFAP2D / Unconjugated /
Product Details
Description | Rabbit polyclonal to Mouse Tcfap2d. Sequence-specific DNA-binding protein that interacts with inducible viral and cellular enhancer elements to regulate transcription of selected genes. AP-2 factors bind to the consensus sequence 5-GCCNNNGGC-3 and activate genes involved in a large spectrum of important biological functions including proper eye, face, body wall, limb and neural tube development. They also suppress a number of genes including MCAM/MUC18, C/EBP alpha and MYC. - | |

About TFAP2D
Predicted to enable DNA-binding transcription factor activity, RNA polymerase II-specific and RNA polymerase II transcription regulatory region sequence-specific DNA binding activity. Predicted to be involved in anatomical structure development; regulation of cell population proliferation; and regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. Predicted to act upstream of or within inferior colliculus development; negative regulation of neuron apoptotic process; and positive regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. Predicted to be part of chromatin. Predicted to be active in nucleus. [provided by Alliance of Genome Resources, Apr 2022]
