RPS6KA3 / Unconjugated /
Product Details
Description | Rabbit polyclonal to RPS6KA3.Ribosomal protein S6 kinase, 90kDa, polypeptide 3 PS6KA3) is a member of the ribosomal S6kinase family of serine/threonine kinases. It phosphorylates various substrates including members ofthe MAP kinase signaling pathway and activators of the transcription factor CREB. RPS6KA3 isinvolved in controlling cell growth and differentiation. Aberrant activity may be implicated in breastand prostate cancers and mutations in this gene have been linked with Coffin-Lowry syndrome. | |

About RPS6KA3
This gene encodes a member of the RSK (ribosomal S6 kinase) family of serine/threonine kinases. This kinase contains 2 non-identical kinase catalytic domains and phosphorylates various substrates, including members of the mitogen-activated kinase (MAPK) signalling pathway. The activity of this protein has been implicated in controlling cell growth and differentiation. Mutations in this gene have been associated with Coffin-Lowry syndrome (CLS).
