Description Rabbit polyclonal antibody to ERMIN. The proten is highly expressed in brain. ERMIN plays a role in cytoskeletal rearrangements during the late wrapping and/or compaction phases of myelinogenesis and is considered a novel cytoskeletal molecule that is exclusively expressed by oligodendrocytes. Moreover, it also plays an key role in late-stage oligodendroglia maturation, myelin/Ranvier node formation during CNS development.
