CD34 / CF488A /

Product Details
Description Rabbit polyclonal antibody to CD34, which are stromal cells, are called dendritic interstitial cells. CD34 cells are mostly known for their expression on hematopoietic progenitor cells found in bone marrow and cord blood. CD34 is a 110 kDa surface marker/ surface adhesion molecule expressed in the umbilical cord. It is a marker of hematopoietic progenitor cells, stromal precursors, vascular endothelial cells, and a variety of stromal tumor cells. Diseases associated with CD34 include Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans and Hypercalcemic Type Ovarian Small Cell Carcinoma. Antibodies to CD34 can be used to study leukocyte migration. CD34, also known as CD34F or HPCA 1, is the gene symbol for CD34 molecule. -

About CD34
The protein encoded by this gene may play a role in the attachment of stem cells to the bone marrow extracellular matrix or to stromal cells. This single-pass membrane protein is highly glycosylated and phosphorylated by protein kinase C. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. About CF488A
CF®488A from Biotium is a fluorophore with an excitation peak at 490 nm and an emission peak at 515 nm. It is spectrally similar to Fluorescein, Alexa Fluor™ 488 and DyLight™ 488. It can be use in fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry. In microscopy, CF®488A has been specifically validated for STORM, STED, Structured Illumination (SIM), 2-Photon microscopy and TIRF.
