CD73 / APC / AD2

Product Details
Description The CD73 antigen is a 70 kDa membrane-bound enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of AMP to bioactive adenosine at neutral pH. This glycoprotein is also called ecto-5’-nucleotidase. CD73 is present on subsets of T and B lymphozytes, follicular dendritic cells, endothelial cells, and marrow stromal cells (MSCs).

About CD73
The protein encoded by this gene is a plasma membrane protein that catalyzes the conversion of extracellular nucleotides to membrane-permeable nucleosides. The encoded protein is used as a determinant of lymphocyte differentiation. Defects in this gene can lead to the calcification of joints and arteries. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.[provided by RefSeq, Mar 2011]
About APC
Allophycocyanin (APC) is a fluorescent protein derived from cyanobacteria and red algae and a potent donor fluorophore to create tandem dyes that can be excited off the 633-640 nm laser. APC has an excitation peak at 650 nm and a emission peak at 660 nm.
