CD32 / APC / 2E1
Product Details
Description | CD32, also known as FcgammaRII, is a 40 kDa low affinity receptor for the Fc fragment of aggregated IgG. Due to alternative splicing three different isoforms of CD32 are expressed on hematopoietic cells: FcRIIA, FcRIIB, and FcRIIC. The cytoplasmic domains of FcRIIA and FcRIIC contain an activatory ITAM motif whereas FcRIIB is an inhibitory receptor containing an ITIM motif. Different isoforms of CD32 are expressed on B cells, monocytes, dendritic cells, granulocytes, and platelets. The monoclonal antibody 2E1 recognizes all isoforms of CD32 without blocking the binding of immune complexes. | |

About APC
Allophycocyanin (APC) is a fluorescent protein derived from cyanobacteria and red algae and a potent donor fluorophore to create tandem dyes that can be excited off the 633-640 nm laser. APC has an excitation peak at 650 nm and a emission peak at 660 nm.
