About CFSE
Carboxyfluorescein diacetate succinimidyl ester (CFSE) is a blue-emitting amine-reactive dye that can be excited by the 405 nm Violet laser and captured using a 530/43 bandpass filter. It has excitation peak at 494 nm and and an emission peak at 521 nm. CFSE is most commonly used for in vivo cell tracking and proliferation studies. When a cell reproduces, the dye is distributed evenly to daughter cells , with fluorescence intensity halving with each successive passage. This is a generic dye and it can be found in kits from various suppliers.
