F4/80 / Biotin / BM8
Product Details
Description | F4 / 80 Monoclonal Antibody, Biotin conjugate (BM8). EGF-Like Module Containing Mucin-Like Hormone Receptor-Like Sequence 1 (EMR1) is characterized as an Orphan-B GPCR with an unknown ligand. The C-terminus contains seven hydrophobic segments, characteristic of a G protein-coupled receptor. The N-terminus of EMR1 has 6 EGF-like modules, separated from the transmembrane segments by a serine/threonine-rich domain, a feature reminiscent of mucin-like, single-span, integral membrane glycoproteins with adhesive properties. EMR1 has been reported to be expressed in human peripheral blood mononuclear cells, monocytes, and hematopoietic and solid tumor-derived cell lines. ESTs have been isolated from human normal spleen and mixed liver/spleen libraries and from human kidney, colon, brain, and bone marrow cancer libraries.FACS Assay Dependent | |

About F4/80
This gene encodes a protein that has a domain resembling seven transmembrane G protein-coupled hormone receptors (7TM receptors) at its C-terminus. The N-terminus of the encoded protein has six EGF-like modules, separated from the transmembrane segments by a serine/threonine-rich domain, a feature reminiscent of mucin-like, single-span, integral membrane glycoproteins with adhesive properties. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jan 2012]
