Tau / APC / REA1124
Product Details
Description | Clone REA1124 recognizes the human, mouse and rat antigen Tau, a protein expressed in neurons. Tau belongs to the family of microtubule-associated proteins (MAPs), whose members interact with the microtubules of the cellular cytoskeleton and have different functions. The binding of MAPs to tubulin dimers of microtubules leads to the stabilization of microtubule structure. | Additional information: Clone REA1124 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. | |

About APC
Allophycocyanin (APC) is a fluorescent protein derived from cyanobacteria and red algae and a potent donor fluorophore to create tandem dyes that can be excited off the 633-640 nm laser. APC has an excitation peak at 650 nm and a emission peak at 660 nm.
