CD3 / PerCP / REAL104
Product Details
Description | Clone REAL104 is an antibody fragment derived from the full CD3 antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAlease Complex to bind markers with high avidity. | Clone REAL104 recognizes the human CD3 antigen, a single-pass type I membrane protein also known as Leu4. CD3 is present on mature human T cells, thymocytes, a subset of NK cells, and on Purkinje cells in cerebellum. It is associated with the T cell receptor (TCR) and is responsible for its signal transduction. The CD3 antigen is a complex of five invariable chains: gamma, delta, epsilon, zeta, and η. The epitope recognized by clone REAL104 is located on the epsilon-chain of the CD3 complex. | The REAlease Kits consist of the respective fluorochrome-conjugated REAlease Complexes and the REAlease Support Kit for removal of the REAlease Complexes and optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAlease Complexes. | |

About PerCP
Peridinin-Chlorophyll-Protein (PerCP) is a red-emitting fluorescent protein isolated from algae that can be excited by the 488 nm blue laser and captured with a 670/30 nm bandpass filter. PerCP exhibits a large Stokes' Shift, with an excitation peak at 482 nm and an emission peak at 675 nm. PerCP is was historically used in flow cytometry, however it is highly susceptible to photobleaching and has poor stability. Alternatives like BB700, NovaFluor Blue 690 or PerCP-eFluor™ 710 are preferred. PerCP is a generic dye that has no sole manufacturer.
