IL-10 R / PE / REA239
Product Details
Description | Clone REA239 recognizes the human CD210 antigen, a 90–110 kDa protein, which is also known as IL-10 receptor (IL-10R) alpha subunit. CD210 is expressed on various cell types like monocytes, B cells, large granular lymphocytes, and T cells. The IL-10R protein is structurally related to interferon receptors. Functional IL-10R complexes are tetramers consisting of two IL-10Ralpha polypeptide chains and two IL-10Rbeta chains. Binding of IL-10 to the extracellular domain of IL-10Ralpha activates the IL-10 signal transduction pathway by inducing phosphorylation of STAT1a and STAT3 and by inducing activation of Jak1 and Tyk. IL-10R has been shown to mediate the immunosuppressive signal of interleukin 10, and thus inhibits the synthesis of proinflammatory cytokines. | Additional information: Clone REA239 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. | | | |

About PE
Phycoerythrin (PE, R-PE) is a red-emitting fluorescent protein-chromophore complex that can be excited the 488-nm blue, 532-nm green, or 561-nm yellow-green laser with increasing efficiency and captured with a 586/14 nm bandpass filter. PE has an excitation peak at 565 nm and an emission peak at 578 nm. PE is 240kD in size and has an extinction coefficient of ~2x10^6 which makes it one of the brightest fluorophores available and a potent donor upon which to build tandem fluorophores with longer Stoke's Shifts.
