Description NB100-63170 is specific for Herpes Simplex virus 2 glycoprotein D (HSV2 gD) a major component of the virion envelope and infected cell membranes that is essential for virus entry into cells. This antibody reacts with a 56-64 kD band, corresponding to glycoprotein D, in an HSV (purified) and infected Vero cell lysate immunoblot.
