Siglec-F / APC / REAL291
Product Details
Description | Clone REAL291 is an antibody fragment derived from the full Siglec-F antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAlease Complex to bind markers with high avidity. | Clone REAL291 recognizes the mouse siglec-F antigen, also kown as siglec-5, which belongs to the sialic acid-binding immunoglobulin-type lectins (siglec) family. Siglecs are expressed on immune cells and are a subset of the I-type lectins. Siglec-F contains an immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motif (ITIM) in its cytoplasmic domain. In mouse, siglec-F is an inhibitory receptor on eosinophils. | The REAlease Kits consist of the respective fluorochrome-conjugated REAlease Complexes and the REAlease Support Kit for removal of the REAlease Complexes and optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAlease Complexes. | |

About APC
Allophycocyanin (APC) is a fluorescent protein derived from cyanobacteria and red algae and a potent donor fluorophore to create tandem dyes that can be excited off the 633-640 nm laser. APC has an excitation peak at 650 nm and a emission peak at 660 nm.
