TOM22 / APC / REA1185
Product Details
Description | Clone REA1185 recognizes the human and mouse mitochondrial import receptor subunit TOM22 homolog antigen, a single-pass membrane protein which is also known as translocase of outer membrane 22 kDa subunit homolog. TOM22 is a central receptor component of the translocase of the outer membrane of mitochondria (TOM complex) responsible for the recognition and translocation of cytosolically synthesized mitochondrial preproteins. It functions together with the peripheral receptor TOM20 as the transit peptide receptor and facilitates the movement of pre-proteins into the translocation pore. | Additional information: Clone REA1185 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. | |

About APC
Allophycocyanin (APC) is a fluorescent protein derived from cyanobacteria and red algae and a potent donor fluorophore to create tandem dyes that can be excited off the 633-640 nm laser. APC has an excitation peak at 650 nm and a emission peak at 660 nm.
