About CD71
This gene encodes a cell surface receptor necessary for cellular iron uptake by the process of receptor-mediated endocytosis. This receptor is required for erythropoiesis and neurologic development. Multiple alternatively spliced variants have been identified. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2015]

About SuperBright 436
SuperBright 436 (SB436) is a fluorescent polymer with an excitation peak at 414 nm and an emission peak at 436 nm. SB436 is spectrally similar to StarBright Violet 440, eFluor™ 450 and Pacific Blue but can be unmixed with Brilliant™ Violet 421 on a spectral analyzer. This dye is a member of the SuperBright dye family, sold by ThermoFisher Scientific under license from BD Bioscience.
