CD273 / PE-Vio770 / MIH18

Product Details
Description Clone MIH18 recognizes human CD273, also known as B7-DC and PD-L2. CD273 with an approximate molecular weight of 25 kDa is a type I transmembrane protein, belonging to the B7 family of protein ligands and to the Ig superfamily. CD273 is mainly expressed on dendritic cells (DCs) and activated macrophages. It has been shown to interact with programmed-death-receptor 1 (PD-1). Both a stimulatory and inhibitory role of CD273, in T cell activation has been proposed.

About CD273
Involved in negative regulation of activated T cell proliferation; negative regulation of interferon-gamma production; and negative regulation of interleukin-10 production. Predicted to be located in plasma membrane. Predicted to be active in external side of plasma membrane. Biomarker of pulmonary tuberculosis. [provided by Alliance of Genome Resources, Apr 2022]
About PE-Vio770
PE-Vio® 770 from Miltenyi Biotec is a red-emitting tandem fluorophore that combines pycoerythrin (PE) and Vio®770. The donor molecule, PE can be excited by the 488-nm blue, 532-nm green, or 561-nm yellow-green laser and and transfers energy to the acceptor molecule, Vio®770, which emitts light that can be captured with a 780/60 nm bandpass filter. PE-Vio®770 has an excitation peak at 565 nm and an emission peak at 775 nm and is a common alternative to PE-Cy7 and PE-H7.
