IL-18 R alpha / PE-Vio770 / REA1095
Product Details
Description | Clone REA1095 recognizes the CD218 antigen, which is also known as interleukin-18 receptor alpha (IL-18Ralpha) chain. IL-18 receptor is an heterodimeric receptor complex, and composed of the IL-18Ralpha chain and the IL-1 receptor accessory protein-like (IL-1RacPL) or IL-18Rbeta chain. CD218 represents the ligand-binding chain, whereas IL-18Rbeta is suggested to assist in the formation of a high affinity complex and mediates intracellular signals. IL-18R is expressed on a variety of cells including macrophages, neutrophils, natural killer (NK) cells, endothelial, and smooth muscle cells and an upregulated expression is observed on naive T cells, T helper cell type 1 (Tʜ1) cells, and B cells, in the presence IL-12. | Additional information: Clone REA1095 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. | |

About PE-Vio770
PE-Vio® 770 from Miltenyi Biotec is a red-emitting tandem fluorophore that combines pycoerythrin (PE) and Vio®770. The donor molecule, PE can be excited by the 488-nm blue, 532-nm green, or 561-nm yellow-green laser and and transfers energy to the acceptor molecule, Vio®770, which emitts light that can be captured with a 780/60 nm bandpass filter. PE-Vio®770 has an excitation peak at 565 nm and an emission peak at 775 nm and is a common alternative to PE-Cy7 and PE-H7.
